Jose, my gardener was undertaking his duties the other day when lo and behold, he found kittens next to the guest house.
The mother appears to be some degenerate stray who has in fact abandoned these dear little creatures. Jose was planning to wring their necks (i was mortified upon hearing this!)
Norman and I had decided not to get any more animals since our beloved rufus had an unfortunate run in with the beamer, much to our now adult childens dismay.
Alas, these little munchkins are just too darn cute.
We're keeping them.
We've named them billy ray (after the great singer) and rupert (after rupert murdoch). For the moment they're residing in our garage until they're toilet trained, in which time they'll be able to roam the house and grounds.
